Creamy Garlic Shrimp Pasta
Ingredients:
For the Shrimp:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (seafood section)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced (fresh produce section)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika (spices section)
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Pasta:
- 8 oz fettuccine or your favorite pasta (pasta section)
- 1 cup heavy cream (dairy section)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (dairy section)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (fresh produce section)
- 2 cups baby spinach (fresh produce section)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (spices section)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (fresh produce section, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Cook the Pasta:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
 
- Prepare the Shrimp:
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the shrimp, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
 
- Make the Creamy Sauce:
- In the same skillet, add the butter and let it melt.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Continue to stir until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes.
 
- Combine and Serve:
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the creamy sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.
- Add the cherry tomatoes, baby spinach, and cooked shrimp to the skillet. Toss everything together until well combined and the spinach is wilted.
- Serve the pasta in bowls, garnished with fresh parsley.
